One of the best, and more popular hikes, is hiking to the Hollywood sign. Now while you can’t get super close to the sign itself, the views are unbeatable.

 

Visiting the Observatory

Situated not too far from the Hollywood sign is Griffith Observatory – a celestial observatory situated at the top of a slope facing the Los Angeles basin. If you’ve seen the movie La La Land, then you should know exactly what this place is. Given the flat beaches and numerous sidewalks, LA’s beaches are great for not only swimming and playing in the sand, but for biking and rollerblading.
